Commercial Façade Improvement Program
The Small Business Commercial Facade Rebate Program is a offered by LISC Indianapolis and provides matching grants to property owners willing to renovate the street-front exteriors of their structures. These improvements could include new signage, windows, painting, and/or structural or design changes. The program funds up to 50% of total project costs, up to $20,000.
The Technical Assistance program provides small grants on a competitive basis to CDCs to help them partner with and secure commercial real estate expertise for early-stage commercial development activities. CDCs have access to an experienced Commercial Development Consultant. This program supports building capacity of business owners.
Brownfield Redevelopment Fund
Through a partnership with the City of Indianapolis, non-profit organizations can remove environmental barriers and spur redevelopment at brownfield sites through the Brownfield Redevelopment Fund, which provides grants up to $10,000. For profit ventures are also supported through this program as a matching grant up to $10,000.
Seed Funds and Project Loans
Local Initiative Support Corporation offers assistance to community-based organizations through flexible financing, training and technical assistance predevelopment and construction activities at commercial industrial and community facilities.
