The Irvies is a community awards ceremony where businesses, neighbors, and our very own larger-than-life personalities are nominated and selected for awards demonstrating their unique talents, notorieties, and contributions to the greater good of Irvington. This fundraiser for Irvington Development Organization (IDO) will be hosted Saturday, February 24 at the Irvington Lodge (5515 East Washington Street).

The Irvies is a multifaceted grand event which consists of an awards ceremony, neighborhood support, showmanship, and – above all else – entertainment! This entails the awards ceremony and a 30-minute intermission. The doors for the event will open at 6 p.m. The after party will commence at the conclusion of the awards. Included in a ticket price ($75 per person) are light hors d’oeuvres, two complimentary drinks of wine or beer, and admittance to the awards ceremony and after party. Additional drinks will be available at a cash bar.

As part of the entertainment, we will have bands performing in the cocktail lounge area as guests arrive, during intermission, and at the following after party. And what event is complete without a red carpet and photographer? We will have a photography backdrop showcasing our Platinum and Gold level sponsors with a professional photographer so that our glamorous guests may capture their experiences on film (red carpet included!).

The entire evening will be emceed by B105.7’s and Irvington’s own Sean Copeland. As the master of ceremonies, Sean will announce winners for awards, welcome guests, and guide the evening’s affairs. Please join us for this fun night.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to attend The Irvies?
Yes, since there will be adult beverages and possibly some adult-ish satire, this event is 21+.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from The Irvies?
We have secured “lots” of parking (pun intended). In addition to existing street parking for the Lodge, we are in the process of working with George Julian School 57 to secure their parking lot, as well as the parking lot across the street from the venue. More updates to come soon.
