No, really! So that means we’ve got a winter full of litter, gravel from all the potholes, and last year’s perennials to sweep up!
We need crews of hardy volunteers to fan out between Ritter and Bolton along Washington St. to clean, and mulch on Saturday, April 21, 8:00 am to noon. We’ll also sweep as much of the pothole remnants from the sidewalks as we can and will have a DPW truck on hand to help us pick up the gravel.
We’ll have the tools you need but if you have a wheel barrow you can throw in your trunk, we could use a few of those.
It’s rain or shine, so come prepared for whatever Mother Nature could throw at us – and lately it could be anything, all in the same day!
We’ll meet in the library parking lot for the all-important coffee and donuts. Contact Margaret@irvingtondevelopment.org to sign up or for questions.
Let’s get ready for warmer days and being outside!
