All week! All free! All ages! Our friends at the Irvington Community Council are hosting a big week-long event July 6-14 for the Woody Guthrie 100th Birthday Celebration & Jamboree in Irvington. Culminates with a day-long concert at Ellenberger Park. Schedule includes:

FRIDAY JULY 6Celebration of Woody Guthrie in Song & Poetry, Underground 9 Studio, 9 South Johnson Avenue, performances by Stan Denski, Bill Shaefer & JJ, Chris Wolf, Caleb Hawkins, Dave Salamone, Mac Bellner, and Jake Walker, 7 pm.

SATURDAY JULY 7 – Bound for Glory (1976)  Irvington Public Library 5625 East Washington Street, 5 pm showing.

SUNDAY JULY 8Music from the Woody Guthrie Centennial,  Brad Odom & Friends at Lazy Daze Coffeehouse, 10 South Johnson Avenue,  4 pm.
